We have a unique opportunity for experienced Operators or Belt Technicians to join our team in casual or permanent rostered roles. This opportunity would see you join a strong brand, and a highly experienced team with a reputation for working with our customers to develop and provide solutions.
This position is open to candidates suitable for either operator or Belt technician role, with selection based on experience and suitability.
About the role:
To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- Minimum 4+ years in a U/G Coal Mine or Mining environment.
- . Experience in conveyor belt maintenance, repairs, and splicing
- Ability to ensure adequate task analyses are completed to carry out work safely.
- Ability to perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
- Ability to inspect and maintain all scrapers onsite.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and be self-motivated.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver license.
- Current Coal Board Medical preferred, or ability to pass an Order 45 medical
- Cert III in Polymer processing (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum Basic Rigging preferred but not essential.
- Working at Heights/Confined Space Entry (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test
You will also have:
- A valid driver license.
- Current Coal Board Medical preferred, or ability to pass an Order 45 medical
