Start your surveying career where you'll get real responsibility, fast.

Want to be out in the field from day one, not stuck behind a desk waiting for your turn?

Our Albury team works on some of the region's biggest land development projects, and we're looking for a graduate surveyor to grow with us.

You'll get the hands-on experience and close mentoring of a tight-knit regional team, backed by the training and resources of a 400-strong consultancy with ten offices across QLD, VIC, NSW, SA and the ACT.

Why go regional?

Life in Albury means short commutes, more affordable living, and the Murray River on your doorstep.

At work, a smaller team means you'll see projects from start to finish, work directly with senior surveyors, and build your skills faster than you might in a big-city office.

Our Culture

At Spiire, we believe that our culture is our difference.

We're a forward-thinking, people-centric business that recognises the importance of working as one team towards a common goal.

As a successful and growing employee-owned business, we recognise and reward the contributions of our people and provide real opportunities and pathways for career progression.

We've built a vibrant team culture and inspiring environment for our people to grow as we grow.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Getting out in the field with our field party surveyors and Licensed Surveyors, and supporting them in the office
  • Using the latest kit, including drones (UAVs), laser scanners and GPS
  • Solving real-world maths problems for real clients
  • Working with developers, contractors, councils and construction teams
  • Helping with project scheduling and reports
  • Contributing to projects across the wider region, not just Albury
  • Our two-year Graduate Program

You'll join a cohort of grads from across Spiire's offices and disciplines and meet up several times a year for interactive workshops.

You'll also get technical training, digital learning, and development in skills like client engagement and communication.

A dedicated buddy and our Graduate Program Manager will support you the whole way.

  • What's in it for you
  • A personalised career plan, with clear pathways to grow, including toward becoming licensed
  • Secondment opportunities across our offices
  • Regular morning teas, social events and an employee-led social club
  • The chance to be part of an employee-owned business that rewards its people

About you

  • You've completed a surveying degree in the last two years, or you're close to finishing
  • You have a current Australian drivers licence
  • You're curious about land development and infrastructure
  • You're proactive, adaptable and happy juggling a few projects at once
  • You communicate clearly and confidently
  • Internships or work placements in surveying are a big plus, but not essential
