About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to design, develop, and support mission-critical trading platform applications within a fast-paced financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering expertise, experience working on complex trading or capital markets systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend services and microservices.
- Build and enhance applications supporting trading, market data, order management, and related business workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning across production and non-production environments.
- Develop automated testing solutions and ensure code quality through unit and integration testing.
- Create and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Monitor application health, system performance, and operational metrics.
- Contribute to cloud-native and containerized application deployments.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.

- AI-assisted development tools and engineering practices
Domain Experience
- Experience working with trading platforms, financial markets, capital markets, market data systems, order management systems (OMS), or execution management systems (EMS) is highly desirable.
- Exposure to high-volume, low-latency, or mission-critical transaction processing environments will be advantageous.
