About the role
This is a casual position focused on chairside assisting, with occasional reception duties as required. The role involves working in a busy clinical environment, delivering excellent patient care and working as part of a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
Providing efficient 4-handed chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures
Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials ahead of appointments
Anticipating clinicians' needs and ensuring smooth patient flow
Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
Assisting with patient care and comfort throughout treatment
Supporting reception and other team members when required
Taking initiative and contributing to the smooth daily operation of the clinic
About you
At least 1-2 years of dental assisting experience
Confident and competent in chairside assisting and 4-handed dentistry
Excellent infection control knowledge and practices
Organised, proactive and able to keep up in a busy clinical environment
Communicates warmly and professionally with patients and colleagues
A genuine team player who willingly supports others
Adaptable, takes initiative and responds positively to feedback
Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
