As a Yard Cordinator Coates Belmont you will own the day-to-day presentation, organisation and flow of equipment throughout the yard, ensuring a safe, efficient and customer-ready operation. This is key operational role in a high-traffic yard environment focused on maintaining safe, organised and efficient operations working Monday to Friday.
As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also:
- Organise and maintain yard layout, workflow and cleanliness
- Support the safe movement, loading and unloading of equipment
- Ensure equipment is presented, stored and prepared to company standards
- Demonstrate safe work practices while working around equipment, vehicles and transport movements
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers and transport contractors
- Identify equipment or items that require attention or repair
- Prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and take initiative
- Contribute to a supportive and high-performing team
What You'll Bring To The Role
As well as experience in a similar environment, you will have:
- Current Forklift Licence
- EWP Licence
- Valid driver's licence
- Experience working around mobile equipment
- Exposure to civil, mining or industrial environments
- Experience loading and unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of load restraint practices
- A proactive approach to workplace health and safety
- The ability to work safely and effectively in a busy operational environment
- A genuine interest in building a stable, long-term career with Coates
