CNC Router Operator & Workshop Worker – Casual
CNC VOX is a Brisbane-based CNC machining and fabrication business working with timber, plywood, MDF, plastics, aluminium and other materials.
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on CNC Router Operator and Workshop Worker to join our team on a casual basis.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor CNC routing machines
- Load materials, change tools and check finished parts
- Read basic technical drawings and follow job specifications
- Assist with assembly, fabrication and general workshop tasks
- Prepare materials and finished components
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
About you
- Experience operating CNC routers or similar machinery
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail and workmanship
- Comfortable using hand tools and workshop equipment
- Practical problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Cabinetmaking or joinery experience is an advantage
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is beneficial but not essential
