About the role
We are looking for an Engineering Geologist to join the Sydney team, full time.
Responsibilities
- Work with the technical team to develop technical solutions using basic engineering and geological principles.
- Undertake technical and non‐technical tasks at the direction of senior professional personnel with support and training when required.
- Carry out fieldwork, data collection/processing and basic design and reporting.
- Work closely with and at the direction of senior technical staff to support in progressing all aspects of project delivery.
What You'll Need
- A Bachelor of Science in Geology or Earth Science
- Minimum 1‐2 years relevant experience in Geology or Earth Science
- Ability to complete strenuous fieldwork tasks
- Ability to travel when required
- A full Australian driver's licence
- A desire to work outdoors with a love of rocks, soil and geology
- Good interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
