An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Used Truck Sales Consultant to join our team at CMV Truck & Bus Clayton.
We’re looking for a driven sales professional who can build strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and grow our used truck sales across Victoria.
You’ll be responsible for generating used vehicle sales, maximising dealership profitability and delivering exceptional customer experience to both new and existing customers.

What you’ll be doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong pipeline of prospective customers
- Understand customer needs and provide the right vehicle solutions
- Achieve sales, revenue and profitability targets
- Undertake marketing and networking activities to generate new sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of truck brands, models and the used vehicle market
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
- Work closely with other dealership departments to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Maintain online advertising platforms to ensure stock is visible and effectively presented to market
- Ensure used vehicle stock is prepared and presented to a high standard
- Be flexible with working hours where required to meet customer needs
What we’re looking for
- Previous sales experience, with truck or automotive industry experience highly regarded
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- A proactive, positive and results-focused approach
- Confidence developing new business while maintaining existing customer relationships
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your results
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to follow established sales and dealership processes
- A current Heavy Vehicle licence is advantageous, but not essential
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys working with customers, building long-term relationships and creating new sales opportunities.
