CloudMarc is seeking an experienced Defect Manager to support a large-scale insurance transformation program. This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality outcomes across Claims and Policy platforms within a complex enterprise environment. Experience with Duck Creek is a major plus; however, hands-on Claims and Policy experience within another insurance system is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle across SIT, UAT, and regression phases
- Lead defect triage, prioritisation, and resolution in collaboration with QA, development, and business teams
- Establish and maintain defect governance, reporting, and quality metrics
- Facilitate defect triage forums and ensure timely defect closure
- Provide clear visibility of defect status, trends, and risks to senior stakeholders
- Ensure accurate documentation and audit readiness
Mandatory Experience
- Claims system experience within an insurance platform
- Policy system experience within an insurance platform
- Experience working across SIT, UAT, and production support phases
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Highly Desirable
- Duck Creek experience (Claims and/or Policy modules)
- Experience in large-scale insurance transformation programs
- Experience working with mixed onshore and offshore delivery teams
