Climbing High Nurseries is looking for caring, enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our team.
You will help create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where children can learn through play, explore and thrive. Your duties will include planning engaging activities, supporting children’s individual development, maintaining observations and records, and building positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
You will support children’s daily care routines and emotional wellbeing, encourage outdoor learning and help maintain high standards of safeguarding and nursery practice.
- A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in early years or childcare suitable for working within nursery staff-to-child ratios in England.
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how young children learn and develop.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection, with a commitment to keeping children safe.
- A warm, patient and caring approach that responds to each child’s individual needs.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Reliability, teamwork and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
- Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, qualification and right-to-work checks, and an enhanced DBS check including the children’s barred list.
