Senior Citrix Engineer / Citrix Infrastructure Specialist
Are you an experienced Citrix professional looking to take ownership of a large-scale enterprise environment? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Citrix Engineer to support and enhance a critical Citrix platform that delivers services across a complex, large user base.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Endpoint User Services team where you will play a key role in maintaining, developing, and improving a modern Citrix infrastructure while contributing to significant ICT initiatives and platform improvements.
As a Senior Citrix Engineer, you will be responsible for the ongoing support, administration, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise Citrix environments across development, testing, and production platforms.
You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure while providing expert troubleshooting and user support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and administer Citrix CVAD and NetScaler environments
- Monitor, maintain, and optimise Citrix infrastructure performance
- Manage load balancing and application publishing/unpublishing activities
- Perform patching, upgrades, and system maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and end-user issues
- Provide expert technical support across desktop and server platforms
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational guides
- Contribute to project delivery and platform improvement initiatives
- Participate in an on-call roster as required
- Extensive experience supporting and managing Citrix infrastructure environments
- Strong expertise with Citrix CVAD and NetScaler technologies
- Experience managing application delivery, load balancing, and platform monitoring
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments including Server 2022/2025
- Proven troubleshooting and break-fix experience within complex enterprise environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience supporting and managing Citrix infrastructure environments
- Strong expertise with Citrix CVAD and NetScaler technologies
- Experience managing application delivery, load balancing, and platform monitoring
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments including Server 2022/2025
- Experience supporting Windows 11 desktop environments
- Proven troubleshooting and break-fix experience within complex enterprise environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
