The Opportunity
As a Casual Weighbridge Operator at Cleanaway, you will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of our transfer stations while providing excellent customer service.
This is a floating position, where you will be required to work across our
Auburn, Erskine Park, Ryde, Artarmon, Belrose and Rockdale transfer stations based on operational requirements.
- Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Liaising with customers and coordinating the movement of waste on and off site.
- Answering incoming calls and assisting with customer enquiries.
- Monitoring vehicle movements and directing traffic when needed.
- Accurately entering data into our waste tracking systems.
- Processing EFT transactions and assisting with general administrative duties.
- Supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.
About You
- Must be available to work across all six transfer stations – essential.
- Own reliable transport – essential.
- Must be available to work both AM and PM shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and a confident phone manner.
- Strong attention to detail and good computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Previous weighbridge experience is highly regarded but not essential, as training will be provided.
- A positive, friendly attitude and willingness to work as part of a close-knit team.
