The predicted salary is between 32.49 - 32.49 $ per hour.
Based at our Laverton VIC site, we are seeking a new team member to join our site operations team. Your day to day tasks will include general warehouse duties, moving full/empty waste bins around site, assisting with loading/unloading trucks and learning how to operate the incinerator – with further opportunities to become a full time incinerator operator in the future.
About You
- Availability for night shift commencing at 2.30PM or 10.36PM in Laverton
- Open to completing some overtime when required (must be available one day of the weekends)
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- The ability to work as part of a team, but also independently
- Physically fit and be adept in handling waste from medical facilities
- Great communication skills with good attention to detail
- Willingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to undertake a National Police Criminal History Check
We are seeking someone who can display a superior commitment to safety and who will represent the Cleanaway Daniels brand with pride. This role is an opportunity for the suitable candidate to be upskilled and cross trained within the business.
Due to the nature of this work, evidence of currency of vaccination or the willingness to receive defined vaccinations is essential. This will include Tetanus and Hepatitis A & B.
