The Opportunity

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced Heavy‐Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our Hillsdale workshop, working on a modern fleet of waste collection vehicles. This permanent full‐time role offers consistent hours, strong earning potential, and long‐term job security within a well‐equipped, safety‐focused workshop.

Hourly rate: $42.90 per hour plus penalty rates and overtime.

Shift: 6:00 AM start, full time.

Skills and Experience

• Trade qualified Heavy‐Duty Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic skills.
• H.R. licence preferred with a clean driving record.
• Experience in fleet maintenance and running repairs.
• Safety‐focused, reliable, and team player.
• Waste industry experience advantageous but not essential.
