The Opportunity
We're looking for a highly skilled Team leader with Operator experience to join our team at our Resource Recovery in Clayton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced heavy machinery operator with proven leadership skills who enjoys mentoring others and driving operational success in a vital environmental services role.
- Operating earthmoving equipment (Front End loader, material handler, skid steer and forklift licence)
- Assist drivers and the public with correct load placement
- Excavate and load dry waste (metal, wood, general rubbish and other material) to compact and cover waste
- Safely operate vehicles and equipment in line with procedures
- Assist with general housekeeping duties
- Maintain a professional image and always deliver high quality customer service

- Current Excavator and Loader ticket
- Leadership Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good mechanical aptitude and committed to safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
