The Opportunity
Cleanaway is seeking an experienced and safety-focused HR Driver to join our Brooklyn team operating a Rear Lift Collection Vehicle. This hands‑on role involves hard waste collection services, including the collection of bulky household items from residential areas. Regular heavy lifting and manual handling are a key part of the role.
Duties include:
- Safely operate Rear Lift collection vehicles
- Complete bulk waste collection services across allocated runs
- Perform manual handling and loading activities as required
- Conduct daily pre‑start inspections and basic vehicle checks
- Deliver a high standard of customer service
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation
