The Clean Energy Regulator
We are an economic regulator accelerating carbon abatement for Australia. We do this by administering Australian Government schemes to measure, manage, reduce and offset carbon emissions in Australia.
Our role is determined by climate change law. We administer schemes that contribute to the Australian Government climate target of reducing emissions to 43% below 2005 levels by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050.

Work with us
Working with us isnβt just a job, it's a chance to have a rewarding career. We're looking for people with diverse skills, expertise and experience to work with us to reduce carbon emissions and increase the use of clean energy in Australia.
About the Section
The Transformation Branch defines Products as each of the CERβs schemes end-to-end value stream. As such, the Product Management section works closely with business owners to implement new schemes and enhance the capabilities of existing schemes. We prioritise the most valuable ideas and painful problems that support the agency's strategic objectives. We aim to ensure we build the right thing for our users by leading collaboration with internal stakeholders to turn these ideas into solutions that balance user desirability, business viability and are feasible to deliver within known guardrails and constraints.
About the Role
As the Assistant Manager in the Product Management section, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating product management activities to deliver strategic business outcomes. You will lead planning and prioritisation processes, maintain product roadmaps, improve delivery practices, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure initiatives align with organisational priorities and user needs. The role also contributes to team capability development, operational leadership, workforce planning, and continuous improvement across product management functions. Depending on your skills and experience, you may also manage products directly, partnering with business areas and delivery teams to deliver value-driven solutions.
Applications close 11.30pm on Monday, 23 November 2026.
