We are seeking a capable and safety-focused Workshop Technician to join our Acacia Ridge branch. This is a hands-on workshop role working predominantly on our material handling equipment and Terberg heavy commercial vehicles. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs and servicing, and help ensure our customers’ equipment is reliable, safe and ready to perform.

We are seeking a capable and safety-focused Workshop Technician to join our Acacia Ridge branch. This is a hands-on workshop role working predominantly on our material handling equipment and Terberg heavy commercial vehicles. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs and servicing, and help ensure our customers’ equipment is reliable, safe and ready to perform.
About the role
- Service, inspect, diagnose and repair material handling equipment and Terberg heavy commercial vehicles.
- Perform planned maintenance and breakdown repairs in line with manufacturer and company requirements.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults using sound troubleshooting methods.
- Complete job records, service reports and parts documentation accurately and on time.
- Work closely with the workshop team, service coordinators and parts staff to keep jobs moving.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area and follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Contribute to a positive team culture focused on quality workmanship and customer service.
About you
- You hold a relevant trade qualification, such as Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Fitter, Automotive or Mobile Plant.
- You have experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles, forklifts, plant, material handling or similar equipment.
- You have strong mechanical aptitude and practical fault-finding skills.
- You understand hydraulic and electrical systems; diagnostic experience is highly regarded.
- You take pride in completing quality work efficiently and safely.
- You are dependable, well organised and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- You hold a current driver licence and have the right to work in Australia.
- Experience with material handling equipment or Terberg vehicles will be highly regarded, but technicians with strong transferable heavy equipment skills are encouraged to apply.
