We're looking for a dedicated Cook to join our North Caloundra team and help create delicious, nutritious meals for young children in a warm and welcoming early childhood environment.

• Part-time permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday
• 4.5 hours per day (22.5 hours per week)
• No weekends, evenings or public holiday work
• Consistent weekly roster
• What you’ll do
• Plan and prepare nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks.
• Cater for a range of dietary, allergy and cultural requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Manage food ordering, stock rotation and kitchen budgets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and hygiene standards.
• Work closely with the centre team to support children's wellbeing.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or related discipline) and Quality Food Supervisor Certificate is ideal, but we are happy to consider unqualified applicants with experience.
• Valid Blue Card and current Police Check.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
