Civilpro Excavations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled civil plant operator to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. This full-time position is a crucial role within our construction company, responsible for operating excavators compactors bulldozers and other earthmoving plant on various civil construction projects around Melbourne.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate and maintain excavators on construction sites
- Assist with the setup and operation of other heavy machinery as required
- Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on excavators
- Work alongside other operators, laborer's and site supervisors to complete projects on time and to a high standard
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site
What we're looking for
- Significant experience (minimum 3 years) operating excavators on large-scale construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently in a high-risk environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required
