About the Opportunity

As part of the City Operations Program, the Irrigation Technical Officer plays a key role in keeping Adelaide’s parks and open spaces healthy, sustainable, and thriving. This hands‑on and technical role coordinates the efficient operation, monitoring and development of irrigation and recycled water systems across the City of Adelaide, ensuring they’re well maintained, water‑smart, and fit for purpose. Working closely with horticulture teams, designers, project managers and industry partners, the Irrigation Technical Officer designs and implements irrigation systems that enhance water efficiency, plant health and environmental outcomes.
