The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled or Excavator Operator with a commitment to safety and a passion for mining? Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Multi-Skilled Operators (Excavator) to join our high-performing team at Curragh North. As a key member of the Curragh North team, you'll support safe and efficient production by operating excavators and other ancillary equipment while contributing to high-performing mining operations.

As the Multiskilled/Excavator Operator, you will:
- Operate excavators and ancillary equipment safely and efficiently to achieve production targets.
- Maintain a strong commitment to Thiess' safety culture, procedures, and operational standards.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to deliver safe, reliable, and productive mining operations.
About you
- Minimum 12 months' experience operating excavators and/or ancillary equipment such as dozers, graders or loaders in an open cut coal mining environment.
- Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts/LMS documents) signed by an SSE or delegate.
- Current Standard 11.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a team.
