- Collaborative and empowering leader: You work in close partnership with the Elders within a Policy Governance framework, developing and empowering staff and volunteers, valuing shared leadership, and providing clear direction while fostering collaboration.
- Able to guide us into our preferred future: You champion the church’s mission, vision, and core values, leading strategic implementation with wisdom and courage, navigating change thoughtfully, and engaging effectively with a regional, multigenerational congregation.
- Excellent biblical teacher and preacher: You communicate God’s Word with clarity, conviction, and relevance, engaging people at all stages of faith while grounding ministry in sound biblical theology and intentionally developing others in teaching and preaching.
- Heart for community transformation: You are passionate about reaching beyond the church to serve vulnerable people, championing initiatives such as Hobart Clothing Hub and Careworks, and building strong partnerships where spiritual and social needs intersect.
