Choices flooring Bendigo are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Residential Flooring Sales Consultant to join our team.
About the Role
This is a customer-facing role where you will help homeowners, builders, and renovators select the right flooring solutions for their projects. Working from our showroom, you will guide customers through product selections, provide quotations, and help manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to installation.
You will also assist with coordinating and organising projects once underway to help ensure a smooth customer experience and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers in selecting flooring products to suit their homes and budgets
- Providing product knowledge and design advice in the showroom
- Preparing quotations and following up leads
- Conducting on-site measure and quote appointments
- Liaising with installers, suppliers, and customers throughout projects
- Assisting with scheduling and coordinating installations
- Maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering excellent service
- Working closely with the wider sales and operations team
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in flooring, interior sales, retail sales, or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Confidence working with customers face-to-face and over the phone
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills and experience with quoting systems is an advantage
- Current driver’s licence is essential
