Choices And Rights is seeking Disability Support Workers to join our team in Chermside. In this casual role, you'll support individuals living with disabilities, helping them live independently, safely, and meaningfully within the community. You will provide support and supervision for local participants.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support and supervision for individuals living with disabilities
- Support individuals to live independently, safely, and meaningfully within the community
- Provide day and overnight supports
- Work a range of shifts, including sleepover shifts
About you
- Experience with mental health disorders
- Disability and\u2014or Aged Care Industry experience
- Willingness to provide day and overnight supports
- Current Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current National Police Check
- Current Driver's License
- Roadworthy, registered, and insured vehicle
- Availability to work a range of shifts, including active nights
- Located in or willing to travel to surrounding suburbs
- Comfortable working around pets
- Potential to progress to permanent positions
