This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure long-term, stable employment, with the role offering permanent employment following a successful qualifying period. You'll work Monday to Friday in a structured and well-supported workshop environment.
About the Role
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will play a key role supporting workshop operations and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting written instructions and job specifications
- Identifying faulty components and reporting findings accurately
- Assisting with motor modifications and mechanical assembly tasks
- Supporting electrical assembly, general workshop duties, and painting works
- Completing daily pre-start and safety inspections
- Providing hands‐on assistance to tradespersons as required
What We're Looking For Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working in a busy workshop or manufacturing environment
- Competent using hand and power tools
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unlimited working rights
