Parks and Gardens - Experienced Skilled Worker
Are you passionate about working outdoors, and experienced in maintaining Parks and Gardens? We are seeking a dedicated, driven worker that demonstrates a strong work ethic to join us on a temporary basis. In this role, you'll play a vital part in creating a well-maintained outdoor environment that everyone can enjoy.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform general parks and gardens maintenance to keep public spaces clean
- Operate ride-on mowers and use other gardening equipment with confidence
- Weeding, hedge trimming, and edging to ensure tidy landscapes
- Conduct regular rubbish and site clean-up routines
Required Skills:
- Previous experience in Parks and Gardens or related outdoor maintenance roles
- Confident in using general hand tools
- Experience driving ride-on lawn mowers and similar equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks with stamina and attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- Hold a valid White Card and C Class driver’s license
- Pass a Drug and Alcohol assessment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Horticulture certification or relevant qualifications (desirable)
