As we grow and innovate, we’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Leader to join our team and play a key role in leading our warehouse operations. You’ll support and develop your team while driving a strong focus on safety, quality, efficiency and operational performance. Operating 24/7, our Dandenong South manufacturing site is home to some of Australia’s most loved yoghurt products. Requirements
The opportunity As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will join our Night Shift team at our Dandenong South site. Working within our large, modern warehouse across both chilled and ambient operations, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations while leading and supporting your team in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead from the front, overseeing loading and unloading trucks, picking, wrapping, labelling and palletising finished goods ready for dispatch. You’ll also play an important role in maintaining stock accuracy, coordinating dispatch, driving a strong safety culture and supporting your team to achieve operational requirements and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach and support your warehouse team, creating a positive and collaborative working environment

Coordinate day-to-day warehouse, dispatch and transport activities

Maintain a strong focus on safety, including hazard identification, incident response and safe operation of MHE

Manage inventory accuracy, pallet identification, stock locations, discrepancies and cycle counts

Coordinate pallet staging, load preparation, paperwork and truck movements

Monitor warehouse systems and ensure accurate inventory information

Respond to operational issues and make practical decisions to minimise impacts to safety, service and production

Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and achievement of team KPIs

Lead by example and maintain high standards across warehouse operations
Skills & Experience
Ideally to be successful in the role you'll have:
- Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience within a high-volume FMCG, manufacturing, food or warehouse environment
- Strong safety leadership and a demonstrated commitment to WHS
- Strong knowledge of inventory and stock control processes
- Experience coordinating dispatch, transport and warehouse activities
- Experience using warehouse management systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Confidence using Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving operational environment
- An inclusive, collaborative and people-first leadership style with a focus on coaching and developing others
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and lean practices
- A reliable and punctual approach, with a willingness to lead from the front
