Cherubs Academy is seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs) to join our dynamic team in Logan Central, Queensland. As an ECT, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experience of our young students. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative environment that values work-life balance.
What you'll be doing:
- Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that foster the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children in the Kindergarten room.
- Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and aligning curriculum to support the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Maintaining accurate records, observations, and assessments to monitor children's progress and inform future planning and transitions for school the following year.
- Collaborating with families to build strong partnerships and support the holistic development of each child.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the centre's policies, procedures, and educational programs.
- Actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
- Registration as an Early Childhood Teacher with the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences for children.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and its application in an early childhood setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous improvement.
- A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their overall development.
