About You:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with heavy industrial equipment, ensuring maintenance and repairs are carried out with precision.
- Shutdowns are crucial periods in industrial operations. We need individuals who are punctual, dependable, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to safety protocols with strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Relevant trade qualifications in mechanical fitting or related fields are essential.
- Effective communication skills are key, as you'll be interacting with colleagues and supervisors, ensuring clear updates are provided throughout the process.
- Experience in steel manufacturing is ideal but not required; however, some heavy industrial experience will be beneficial.
