You’ll be responsible for completing residential electrical safety inspections, identifying hazards, carrying out minor repairs and providing clear recommendations and reports. You’ll also be the face of the business when dealing with tenants, homeowners and agents, so great communication and customer service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct residential electrical safety inspections across Melbourne
- Identify electrical hazards, faults and compliance issues
- Carry out minor electrical repairs and rectification works
- Provide clear recommendations to homeowners, tenants and property agents
- Complete accurate inspection reports and safety documentation
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and safety requirements
- Deliver professional customer service on every visit
- Manage daily jobs independently and maintain organised, timely completion
- Represent the business professionally when dealing with customers and clients
What We’re Looking For
- Current A Grade Electrical Licence
- Full/current driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3019 wiring rules
- Previous compliance or residential inspection experience is desirable, but not essential
