About the Role: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisors this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Industrial Painter & Sandblaster to join our maintenance team. You will be responsible for the assessing, preparing and painting of our heavy earthmoving mobile fleet and rebuilt components before they are taken out to site.
Roster & Location: 5 days on 2 days off (Mon to Fri) based at the Waroona Workshop.
About you:
- Strong knowledge of blasting techniques and surface preparation for painting & protective coatings
- Application of industrial paint systems using airless & conventional spray equipment
- Mixing paints and coatings to specification
- Carry out quality inspections of completed work
- Safety focused mindset with a solid work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- HRWL – LF, WP
- Work safely at heights
