Melbourne | Hybrid – 3 days onsite
We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join an established mobile engineering team working across several major initiatives on a large-scale consumer platform.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who's comfortable working within a mature application, navigating existing architecture and dependencies, and contributing ideas around how the platform continues to evolve.
You'll be working with a strong existing mobile team and will have ownership across the development lifecycle, from technical design and development through to testing, release and production support.
What we're looking for:
- Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Coroutines / Flow
- MVVM, MVI or Clean Architecture
- Experience with large-scale consumer or enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of modular architecture and dependency management
- REST APIs and backend integrations
- Automated testing and CI/CD
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications
- Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively with other engineers, product and design
- Comfortable contributing ideas and challenging technical approaches where appropriate
Experience building reusable UI components/design systems, working within security-conscious environments or across complex integrations would be beneficial.
