Senior Civil & Structural Engineer
Location: Booragoon, WA with occasional travel to Pinjarra Refinery & Huntly Mine (Myara)
Rate: $110 - $120 per hour + Superannuation
Contract Duration: 12 Months with strong potential for extension
Start Date: Immediate availability or short notice preferred
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to join a major water infrastructure project supporting future mining operations across Western Australia.
Reporting to the Major Project Engineering Manager, you will provide senior civil and structural engineering leadership, technical assurance and design oversight for the Huntly Supplementary Water Project. You will support the development of a water treatment plant, bulk water reticulation and associated infrastructure, ensuring civil, structural and earthworks designs are safe, constructible, maintainable and fit for purpose.
This role will act as the owner's representative for the discipline and oversee engineering deliverables produced by external engineering consultants throughout the FEL 2 engineering phase.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring civil and structural designs are practical, well-developed and ready to support the project's next phase.

About the Project
The Huntly Supplementary Water Project is a significant major capital project currently commencing FEL 2 engineering to identify and develop a long-term water supply solution for Huntly Mine and surrounding operational assets.
Key project scope includes:
- Water treatment plant assessment and design development
- Bulk and distribution water reticulation infrastructure
- Earthworks, drainage and civil infrastructure design
- Structural steel, reinforced concrete and equipment foundations
- Multidisciplinary engineering integration across major project teams
Key Requirements
- Must be based in Perth and have full Australian work rights
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 10+ years' experience delivering major capital projects
- Experience across water infrastructure, mining, mineral processing or heavy industry
- Strong capability in earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete, structural steel and foundations
- Experience managing engineering consultants and technical design reviews
- CPEng or equivalent registration highly regarded
