We currently have some exciting opportunities for Labourers to join a large-scale solar farm project located in near Muswellbrook, NSW. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience within the growing renewable energy sector while contributing to a significant construction project.
We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Mobile Plant Operators to join the construction team and assist with the delivery of this exciting project. These positions include
- Skid Steer Operators
- Excavator Operators (15 to 20 Ton)
- Tractor Operator
- Front End Loader Operators

Key Responsibilities
As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will play an important role in supporting construction activities across the solar farm site. Duties may include:
- Operate excavators and other civil plant and machinery to support trenching and underground cable installation works.
- Excavate trenches to the required depth, width and alignment.
- Assist with the preparation of trenches for installation
- Carry out backfilling, compaction and reinstatement works
- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine checks on excavators, plant and equipment before commencing work.
- Follow approved SWMS, JHAs, site safety procedures and exclusion-zone requirements when operating mobile plant.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas around trenches, access tracks and work fronts.
- Complete required plant documentation, including pre-start checks, operating records and safety documentation.
- Participate in toolbox meetings, pre-start meetings and site safety discussions.

Essential Requirements
- Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Plant Operator ticket/s
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Mobility Assessment
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Full Australian working rights
- Current Drivers Licence
Highly Regarded
- Solid Mobile Plant Operator Experience as listed above
- Verification of Competency in last 2 years is preferred.
- Previous experience working on large-scale project sites
- A strong track record of working safely around heavy plant and machinery.
