Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker Welder for a Perth-based workshop and field service role, focusing on the repair and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment (HME). Working within a well-established team, you will be responsible for carrying out structural repairs, rebuilds, and fabrication work on mining and civil equipment, including buckets, trays, blades, and other heavy components.
Key Responsibilities
- Heavy structural repairs on buckets, trays, blades, and attachments
- Fabrication and welding of wear plates and structural components
- Crack detection, gouging, preparation, and weld repairs
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and repair specifications
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety
Essential Requirements
- Trade Qualified Boilermaker / Welder
- Demonstrated experience with heavy earthmoving equipment repairs
- Proven 4G Flux Core welding experience
- Ability to pass weld testing if required
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
