Payroll Specialist

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing large-scale payroll operations using an internal CRM and utilizing basic Excel skills. Your role will be vital in ensuring timely and precise payroll delivery, supporting operational excellence and employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and possess a keen eye for detail.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proven high-volume payroll processing capability
- Familiarity with payroll systems
- Basic proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work at the Adelaide office, standard hours (8am to 5pm)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience specifically within mining, heavy industry, or construction sectors
- Knowledge of additional payroll software tools
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications related to payroll, HR, or finance
- Extensive hands-on payroll experience within heavy industry or related sectors
Other Requirements:
- Ability to commence as soon as possible
- Must be able to work from Adelaide office during regular working hours
