- We are seeking an experienced
Leading Hand to join a project at an education facility in Sydney's Inner West on an initial 5-month contract, with works expected to commence within the next 1–2 weeks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, proactive Leading Hand with a strong trade background and previous fit-out experience to play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of works on site.
Working closely with the site management team, you will assist with coordinating trades and subcontractors, monitoring daily site activities and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You will be confident managing site priorities, communicating with multiple stakeholders and helping maintain project progress in a fast-paced construction environment.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have
- Previous experience in a Leading Hand or similar site-based supervisory role.
- A solid trade background, with fit-out experience highly regarded.
- The ability to coordinate trades, subcontractors and day-to-day site activities.
- A strong understanding of site safety, quality control and construction processes.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider project team.
