CGC Recruitment is partnering with an international rail infrastructure manufacturer and supplier to recruit a Contracts Manager with responsibility across the Asia-Pacific region.
The business develops and supplies engineered products and systems used in the construction, maintenance and operation of railway networks. Its work connects manufacturing, technical expertise and international supply chains to support rail infrastructure projects.
This opportunity would suit an experienced contracts professional with a strong understanding of customer supply agreements, purchasing and international shipping.
The opportunity
Working closely with sales, finance, production, purchasing and logistics teams, you will manage contracts from opportunity identification and order placement through to fulfilment, protecting commercial outcomes and ensuring customer requirements are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and negotiating commercial and financial terms, including customer contracts and Letters of Credit.
- Managing contract budgets, profitability and financial performance reporting.
- Coordinating contract reviews and translating requirements into production and purchasing activities.
- Forecasting customer demand to support production capacity and delivery planning.
- Supporting quotations, proposals and customer negotiations.
- Ensuring supplier agreements include appropriate back-to-back contractual terms.
- Providing guidance to contract control colleagues across APAC and supporting consistent regional processes.
About you
You will bring:
- At least 10 years’ experience across sales administration, purchasing, shipping and contract negotiation, or less experience supported by a relevant degree.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify contractual risks and protect margins.
- Experience managing customer and supplier relationships throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Confidence coordinating multiple teams to meet contractual and delivery commitments.
- Clear communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience within rail, engineered products, manufacturing or infrastructure materials supply would be highly regarded.
