Centurion Healthcareis a multidisciplinary specialist clinic group involved in Respiratory, Sleep Disorders andCardiology services. Our headquarters is based in Berwick.
The role will involve the following:
Education of GPs and specialists about sleep disorders;
Hooking up patients referred for sleep study services; and
Educating Obstructive Sleep Apnoea patients requiring CPAP or MAS treatment.
A Science / Medical Science,Nursing, Paramedic or Sleep Technologist background is preferred though not essential, however, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate strength in the following areas:
Interpersonal skill
Communication
Learning speed
Working independently
Organisational skills
Multi-tasking
Training is provided and will involve learning about:
Sleep disorders - symptoms, diagnosis, consequences, treatment options
Medical devices - learning to use, trouble shoot diagnostic sleep study equipment and CPAP devices
We operate our service from a number of different locations across Melbourne's South East. The successful candidate must have a drivers license and exclusive use of a car.
