A CSCF level 4 maternity service, the unit has 18 beds, five private birthing suites and a neonatal nursery to offer care across pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. The service includes Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) to support continuity of care and enable midwives to build strong, ongoing connections with women and families. The maternity team also works closely with Gumma Gundoo, the local First Nations maternity service, to provide culturally appropriate care and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and families.
