What we are looking for:
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team based in Campbellfield, Victoria. This role is offered on a casual basis initially, with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment for the right candidate following a successful probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver boxed meat products safely and efficiently throughout Metro Melbourne.
- Complete deliveries to butcher shops, food service businesses, wholesalers, and distribution centres.
- Ensure temperature-sensitive products are transported in accordance with food safety requirements.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles as required.
- Most deliveries are forklift-on/forklift-off; however, manual unloading at some customer locations is required.
- Utilise pallet jacks and delivery equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Provide professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
- Follow all road transport, chain of responsibility, workplace safety, and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Hold a current HR license.
- Have experience using manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Have a good knowledge of Metro Melbourne road networks.
- Have a strong work ethic with excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to perform physical work, including manual unloading of cartons up to 25kg as required.
- Commitment to providing high levels of customer service.
