You will join a small administration team and assist the Managing Director to manage the office. This is a newly created role with a dual focus on administration and accounts following an internal restructure. It reports directly to the owners of the business (the Managing Director and Finance Director).
Key responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day activities of a medium sized business, including hands on AP/AR, BAS lodgements, monthly reporting and end of year financial accounts.
- Assist with relationships with external accountants, quality auditors and insurance brokers.
- Manage the company's annual ISO 9001 audit.
- Maintain and optimise the newly implemented ERP system (Odoo) to ensure data integrity and management reports.
- Manage the general office and facility requirements.
- Assist with HR administration including employee onboarding and compliance.
- Manage internal communications.
- Assist the owners with process improvements and streamlining administrative bottlenecks.
About you
- Comfortable reviewing financial data and interacting with the sales team.
- Proficient in modern ERP systems and the Microsoft Office suite of software products.
- Experience built on the back of qualifications in accounting, business, finance or engineering.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
