CDC Build is seeking a trade-qualified construction professional to join our team in a hybrid project management and supervisory role.
This position is ideally suited to an experienced Carpenter who has Project management experience.
The role will be predominantly office-based, working closely with our Director and site supervisors to coordinate multiple commercial construction projects and ensure works are running efficiently, on schedule and to our expected standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support site supervisors across multiple projects.
- Coordinate construction programmes, trades and upcoming works, ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and help resolve issues before they impact delivery.
- Assist with material procurement, subcontractor coordination and scheduling.
- Maintain clear communication between site teams, management, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with estimating, tender preparation and project planning as required.
- Attend site visits and meetings to ensure projects remain on track.
About You
- Trade-qualified, with a carpentry background.
- Certificate IV in construction - or willing to obtain
- Strong practical understanding of commercial construction methods and sequencing.
- Experience in site supervision, project coordination or construction management would be highly regarded.
- Well-organised, proactive and confident managing multiple projects.
- Comfortable using computers and construction management software.
- A good communicator who can lead site teams and work collaboratively with trades and management.
- Someone who takes ownership, solves problems and genuinely cares about delivering quality projects.
