  • Eligibility for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Consideration may also be given to suitably qualified overseas-trained General Surgeons progressing through an approved specialist pathway
  • Recent and relevant clinical experience in General Surgery appropriate to the service’s role delineation
  • Strong multidisciplinary teamwork and clinical leadership capabilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and digital communication skills
  • A commitment to teaching, continuing professional development, research and quality improvement

The region offers an enviable coastal lifestyle surrounded by beaches, national parks, rivers and welcoming communities. Live and work on the spectacular NSW South Coast, approximately two hours from Canberra and less than four hours’ drive from Sydney. Enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, surfing, bushwalking and cycling. Benefit from shorter commutes, a relaxed pace of life and a strong sense of community, making it an attractive location for individuals, couples and families seeking greater work–life balance.
