Take ownership of a retail centre in Gungahlin with real P&L accountability across a retail shopping centre. This is a hands-on commercial management role where you will own the full operational and financial performance of the asset, including P&L management, budgeting, tenant relationships, and team leadership.

A real estate licence is preferred, but CBRE will support the right candidate to obtain one. This role suits a commercially sharp operator from finance, operations, or business management who is ready to step into property.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the centre's P&L and annual budget, including variance analysis and reporting
  • Manage outgoings, recoveries, and monthly financial reporting to stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to control costs and improve commercial performance
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and compliance across the asset
  • Lead and develop a small on-site team, setting clear expectations and supporting performance
  • Build productive relationships with tenants and provide regular performance updates to asset stakeholders

About You

You know how to run a business. You have owned a budget, led a team, and kept things moving in a fast-paced commercial environment. You may come from retail operations, hospitality, facilities management, financial services, or another commercial setting. What matters most is commercial sharpness, strong leadership, and the discipline to manage competing priorities without losing the detail.

  • Demonstrated P&L and budget ownership in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Proven team leadership with a hands-on, accountable approach
  • A real estate licence, or the drive to obtain one with CBRE's full support
  • Strong communication skills across tenants, contractors, and senior stakeholders

Property experience is not required. If you have run a business and led a team, we want to hear from you.

Why CBRE?
