Lead security risk and emergency preparedness across a diverse national property portfolio.

National remit across retail, commercial, industrial and social infrastructure assets.

Partner with IFM Investors stakeholders, law enforcement and emergency services.

Own security contractor performance, investigations and emergency response programs.

Influence security strategy and risk management across a blue-chip institutional portfolio.

This is a senior national role with responsibility for security governance, contractor oversight, risk management and emergency preparedness across a diverse portfolio of assets. Working closely with IFM Investors stakeholders, CBRE portfolio leadership and operational teams, you’ll provide advice on security-related matters, identify emerging risks and help ensure consistent standards are maintained across the portfolio. You’ll be the primary escalation point for significant security and emergency events and will work closely with site teams, security providers and external agencies when incidents occur. Just as importantly, you’ll look beyond individual events to identify trends, strengthen processes and help shape how security is managed across the portfolio.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with sound judgement, commercial awareness and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead security risk and emergency preparedness programs across the IFM Investors portfolio nationally.
  • Manage national security service and emergency response services providers, including contract performance, service standards and KPI delivery.
  • Oversee security risk assessments, incident management and investigation activities across the portfolio.
  • Analyse security and incident trends, presenting findings and recommendations to IFM Investors and CBRE stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement, emergency services and other key external stakeholders.

About You:

You are an experienced security professional who has led security programs within complex, multi-site environments. You know how to balance operational realities with risk management requirements and are comfortable engaging with everyone from frontline teams through to executive stakeholders.

You’ll Also Bring:

  • Experience leading security risk programs across a national or multi-site portfolio.
  • Strong contractor, vendor and stakeholder management capability.
  • Experience overseeing incident management and investigation processes.
  • A background in property, facilities management, infrastructure, physical security or enterprise security risk management.
  • CPP, PSP or equivalent security qualification highly regarded.
  • ICAM experience beneficial.

Why CBRE?

  • Work across one of Australia's leading institutional property portfolios.
  • Direct exposure to IFM Investors stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
  • Opportunity to influence security risk and emergency preparedness programs at a national level.
  • Diverse portfolio spanning retail, commercial, industrial and social infrastructure assets.

At CBRE, our unwavering commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion begins with you. We are strengthening our inclusive culture, so everyone feels safe, valued, and heard. Because when you belong, we all succeed. We welcome and encourage First Nations People to apply.

Please note the successful applicant will be required to undertake pre-employment background screening by our external third-party provider.
