Mechanical Ventilation / Sheet Metal Installer
Cavalier Ventilation is one of Sydney's leading manufacturers and installers of commercial kitchen rangehoods and mechanical ventilation systems. We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of custom commercial rangehoods, ductwork and mechanical exhaust systems. We are looking for a Mechanical Ventilation Installer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Key responsibilities
- Install and commission commercial rangehoods, ductwork and mechanical ventilation systems
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and ensure installations meet project specifications
- Work closely with site supervisors, builders and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensure all installations comply with Australian Standards, WHS requirements and client quality expectations
- Supervise and manage company personnel on site when required
- Conduct accurate site measurements for ductwork and follow-up installations
- Identify and resolve installation issues on site
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals and meet deadlines
About you
Previous experience installing commercial rangehoods, kitchen exhaust systems and/or HVAC systems is highly desirable
Strong understanding of ductwork, mechanical ventilation and system layouts
Experience with sheet metal ductwork installation and exhaust fan replacement
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Construction White Card
Valid NSW Driver Licence
Willingness to travel to various project sites across Sydney and NSW
