Overview
Registered Nurse – Surry Hills, full-time on-site position with Catholic Healthcare Limited in Surry Hills, NSW. This role offers opportunities for career growth in a not-for-profit organisation that supports the dignity and wellbeing of older people.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
- Act as Team Leader, coaching, supervising, and guiding the personal care team.
- Work in a safe manner and follow all policies and procedures to protect residents, colleagues and yourself.
Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
- Strong clinical knowledge of aging and related health issues.
- Strong coaching/training skills and effective conflict resolution with high emotional intelligence.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Competent IT skills.
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
