  • Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Guide and mentor fellow educators within your room, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Utilise programming time to plan, document, and reflect on the educational program.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's values and educational philosophy.
  • Participate actively in ongoing professional and personal development.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent - essential for this role.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 - Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded.
  • A valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in a lead educator or room leader role is highly regarded.

Why Join Us:

  • Competitive Salary - Earn a salary that mirrors your expertise and accomplishments.
  • Professional Development - Access strong organisational support across programming and quality practices.
  • Flexible work location - Work from one primary service with the opportunity to work additional shifts across CEEC's 130+ services, if desired.
